7th ARMY TRAINING COMMAND

GRAFENWOEHR, GERMANY

7ATC Hosts Combined Resolve to Enable Readiness for 3rd ABCT ‘Greywolves’

GRAFENWOEHR, Germany – Combined Resolve will be held at 7th Army Training Command's Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany, Apr. 9 - May 10, 2026.

More than 3,800 personnel will participate in iteration of the Combined Resolve exercise series, which is a reoccurring U.S. Army Europe and Africa exercise held several times throughout the year for its rotationally deployed troops.

“Our rotations at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center are designed to increase combat readiness and proficiency by creating a completive training environment where formations compete against both a peer adversary and the challenging environment of Hohenfels,” said Brig. Gen. Terry Tillis, commanding general, 7th Army Training Command. “Exercises like Combined Resolve are essential for increasing combat readiness of U.S. Army Europe and Africa’s rotational forces alongside our permanently stationed units.”

“Every Soldier completes their training with elevated tactical and technical expertise, ready to enhance the current capabilities by integrating timely and relevant technology with fundamental warfighting skills.,” Tillis said.

The primary training audience for this rotation is the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Calvary Division. The 3/1 CAV is based in Fort Hood, Texas and will execute this combat training center rotation to build unit readiness, train and assess 3/1 CAV operations, and present a combat credible U.S. Army force.

JMRC is the premiere combat training center location for U.S Army units to continue transformation objectives and conduct the Lethality Evaluation Program, while training in an environment informed by NATO, to ensure Soldiers’ warfighting and lethality skills are interoperable and ready.
