Service members of Joint Task Force Bravo provide support for those affected by Hurricane Matthew in Haiti and Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Div. receive fire phobia training in Hohenfels, Germany.
SERGEANT AUDREY SANTANA, SOLDIERS RADIO NEWS
FOR THE PAST MONTH SERVICE MEMBERS PART OF JOINT TASK FORCE BRAVO PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION AND SUPPLIES FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY HURRICANE MATTHEW IN HAITI. COMMANDER, ARMY COLONEL BRIAN HUGHES SAYS ALL OF THE SERVICES WORKED TOGETHER TO ACCOMPLISH THE MISSION.
"AN AMAZING JOINT EFFORT, I MEAN WE HAD, OUT HERE ON THE RAMP WE HAD EVERY SINGLE BRANCH OF THE SERVICE, ARMY, NAVY, AIRFORCE, MARINE, AND THE LOCAL CIVILIANS, GREAT EFFORT."
SOLDIERS OF THE HUNDRED AND FIRST AIRBORNE DIVISION RECEIVED SOME HOT TRAINING AT HOHENFELS TRAINING AREA IN GERMANY. FIRST SERGEANT ROBERT GAUMOND SHARES THE DETAILS ON WHAT THIS TRAINING ENTAILS.
"WE'RE DOING FIRE PHOBIA TRAINING, WHICH GOES HAND-IN-HAND WITH THE RIOT CONTROL TRAINING WE'VE BEEN DOING, SO WE'RE LEARING HOW TO DEAL WITH MOLOTOV COCKTAILS ON A RIOT LINE."
