Apache Attack Helicopter pilots briefed multinational Joint Terminal Attack Controllers on the Apache’s capabilities to increase awareness for future training opportunities as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. 1st Battalion., 68th Armor Regiment and 1st Battalion, 501st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, the units of some of the JTACs and pilots respectively, are deployed to Europe as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led effort in Eastern Europe that demonstrates U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region.
