B-roll of crew members aboard the Littoral Combat Ship USS Freedom (LCS 1) conduct a live fire test of its 57mm gun and search and rescue exercise on the flight deck. Freedom is on its way to participate in Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2010, the worlds larges maritime exercise. Scenes include the 57mm gun firing several rounds, helicopter taking off, helicopter and service members performing training exercise. Produced by Petty Officer 3rd Class Spencer Mickler.
