I’m General Dan Allyn, 35th Vice Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army. On behalf of the Army’s senior leaders, congratulations on your recognition as a 2015 Army Safety Award recipient.
In a complex and uncertain world, readiness must remain our Army’s number one priority. Your commitment to safety ensures we remain ready to answer the Nation’s call. Your dedication to always help your unit and our Army’s leaders manage risk in our high intensity profession has saved lives and made the Army more prepared to fight and win our Nation’s wars.
I encourage you to continue leading and mentoring our Soldiers and civilians through rigorous enforcement of training, discipline and standards in everything we do. Our Army is counting on your inspiring example to ensure we maintain our combat edge while operating safely, on and off duty.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations on a job well done. Thank you for your service to our country. Keep up the great work. God bless you. Army Safe is Army Strong!
