The 82nd Aerial Targets Squadron is home to the Air Force's BQM-167A subscale aerial target. Recently, this high-flying workhorse for numerous testing programs reached a milestone. The reusability and low-cost these targets provide, has increased it's demand for use in weapons testing. It is predicted, it could hit the 2,000th launch mark in only five years.
