Peacekeepers are evaluated on how well they check vehicles and personal at the gate, if in fact they maintain perimeter security, and how they reacting to possible sniper fire and angry mobs at the gate. The exercise is being conducted at the BIPSOT a peacekeeping training facility located approximately 60 kilometers north of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The exercise is a Bangladesh armed forces hosted and U.S. Pacific Command (US PACOM) Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) supported joint multi-national exercise designed to give operations, logistics, planning and tactical peace-keeping training to members of 13 different countries in preparation for United Nations Peace-keeping Operations.
