Chief of Naval Operations Greets USS Bulkeley to Rota Spain

The guided missile destroyed USS Bulkeley (DDG 85) completed a homeport shift to Rota Spain on August 17. Bulkeley departed Naval Station Norfolk, Aug. 4, as part of the U.S. Navy’s long-range plan to gradually rotate the Rota-based destroyers of the Forward Deployed Naval Forces-Europe. Admiral Michael Gilday was present to greet the ship and her crew to their new home.
Bulkeley is now a part of destroyer squadron 60 and command task force 65 where it will be fortifying the relationship between NATO and the us navy
