The Center for Development of Security Excellence's (CDSE) Insider Threat Vigilance Series Episode 4
Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency
Sept. 24, 2020 | 9:45
Episode 4 – “Meeting of the Minds”
Season 1
Insider Threat Program members meet to discuss indicators that were reported in Episodes 1, 2, & 3. Are Tim and Phyllis spies? Or are there less nefarious explanations for their behaviors? What actions do the insider threat team take in reference to Joyce’s recent publication? Watch the video to see what actions the multi-disciplinary team take.
The Insider Threat Vigilance Series aids the workforce in understanding how to identify and report insider threat indicators. The series also provides an overview of how Insider Threat Programs (also known as Insider Threat HUBs) take a multi-disciplinary staff approach towards analyzing information and activity indicative of an insider threat and referring that data to the appropriate officials to investigate or otherwise resolve. The goal of the program is to deter threats and detect potential issues early on—before a problem occurs.
