Sailors from the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) greet family and friends after returning home to Naval Station Norfolk after a 9 month deployment. Truxtun was deployed as part of Carrier Strike Group 2 (CSG 2) with USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), USS Roosevelt (DDG 80), and USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) to conduct maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
