Secretary of Defense Ashton “Ash” Carter took part in the official ceremony welcoming Israel’s first two F-35 Joint Strike Fighters. The ceremony, which included a flyby of the two F-35’s, accompanied by an IAF F-15, took place at the Nevatim Air Force Base in southern Israel, which will become the new home of these fifth-generation fighters.
