Keith Nightingale Staff Ride and Normandy B-Roll 2022
XVIII Airborne Corps Public Affairs
June 1, 2022 | 15:43
The Following is B-Roll footage of Keith Nightingale, retired colonel in the United States Army, as he gives one of his tours around Normandy focused on D-Day. Included is other footage from numerous locations in Normandy where the battle also took place. These areas would also have been a part of Keith Nightingale's tour. Although Nightingale did not fight during D Day, he found a deep interest in the battle and interviewed many soldiers who did fight that day and throughout the battle. His tour is called a "Staff Ride" and may have been one of the last ones Nightingale will ever give. Nightingale did fight during the Vietnam War and has played a tremendous role in keeping United States history alive.
