Marines from Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, and the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force joined together for a farewell ceremony in Kumamoto, Japan. The purpose of the ceremony was to celebrate the teamwork achieved during Exercise Forest Light. Lance Corporal Katie Curtis attended the ceremony to understand the importance of this farewell ceremony. This video story includes soundbites from Sgt.
