U.S. Air Force civil engineering power production barrier maintenance technicians assigned to the 346th Expeditionary Air Base Squadron (EABS), install a mobile aircraft arresting system, a system used to provide take off, landing and in-flight emergency support for tail hook equipped aircraft, in Ceiba, Puerto Rico, Oct. 20, 2025. U.S. military forces are deployed to the Caribbean in support of the U.S. Southern Command mission, Department of War-directed operations, and the president’s priorities to disrupt illicit drug trafficking and protect the homeland.
