Re-enlistment aboard a museum ship, the USS Wisconsin (BB 64)
Naval History and Heritage Command
Nov. 29, 2018 | 1:10
MA1(EXW) Micah Cannon, from the USS Bataan (LHD 5) re-enlisted aboard the USS Wisconsin (BB 64) in front of members of his command. The Wisconsin is one of four Iowa-Class Battleships that is preserved as a museum ship, and is moored permanently next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia. The museum is part of the Naval History and Heritage Command, and the Wisconsin, along with the museum's gallery, are popular venues for area commands to hold military ceremonies. This video was produced utilizing still photographs, video and archived imagery. To inquire about military ceremonies, contact their Special Events Coordinator at Thomas.Dandes@navy.mil or at (757) 322-3106. (US Navy Video by Max Lonzanida/Released)
