Represenatives from the People's Republic of China met with U.S. Pacific Command, U.S. Pacific Air Forces, and U.S. Pacific Fleet to discuss the Military Maritime Consultative Agreement, Nov. 15-17, 2017.

The MMCA is a mechanism to encourage open and transparent communication to address concerns and develop common understanding between the two nations' air and naval forces to avoid unsafe incidents.
