Capt. Kevin Brown and Seaman Margarita Deleon with the Expeditionary Medical Facility New Orleans Detachment give a welcome aboard message for incoming patients of the personal housing unit (PHU) in New Orleans, April 10, 2020, in support of the Department of Defense COVID-19 response. The PHU is designed for symptomatic patients transferred from area hospital emergency departments with pending COVID-19 test results. The EMF works in coordination with federal, state, and local health officials to ensure equipment and resources are in place and are operationally capable to safely treat patients. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, is providing military support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help communities in need. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Daniel R.
