A-Roll: Alliance in the Skies: U.S. Army flyover honoring Latvian Independence
70th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment
May 4, 2025 | 0:47
U.S. Army Capt. Claudia Morin, a commander and pilot, and Staff Sgt. Jessey Colon, a platoon sergeant and crew chief with Alpha Company, 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 501st Aviation Regiment, Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division, speak about the Day of the Restoration of Latvian Independence at Lielvārde air base, Latvia, May 4, 2025. The Day of the Restoration of Latvian Independence recognizes the restoration of the Latvian Republic in 1990. The U.S. remains committed to the NATO alliance and our Latvian allies. Latvia is clearly invested in its defense, and U.S. cooperation strengthens deterrence and security along NATO’s eastern flank. (U.S. Army Video by Sgt. Rachel Hall)
