Hands-On Session with the Microsoft HoloLense during Tech Expo 2016
Training Support Activity Europe
July 29, 2016 | 1:04

Moreno, USARMY USAREUR, (center, with HoloLense) testing out the HoloLense during the Hands-On Session after a seminar held by Mr. Brent Gatewood, Principal Technical Account Manager at Microsoft (at the left) amongst others and Mr. Carsten Humm, Chief Technology Officer at Medialesson GmbH (seen in the background guiding another attendee through the HoloLense User Interface) amongst others.
Microsoft was one of several companies holding a seminar during the Tech Expo on 28-29 July 2016.
The Hands-On Session was held on July 29 2016 in the Digital Training Facility of the Training Support Center on Clay Kaserne, Wiesbaden, Germany.
As technology advances, the Army has to preserve its strength by remaining familiar with the latest technology.
The semiannual U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden Tech Expo was hosted by National Conference Service, Inc. (NCSI). It gives all organizations and units structured under USAG Wiesbaden, United States Army Europe (USAREUR), 66th Military Intelligence Brigade and other tenants units the opportunity to see preview some new technology and gear. Attendees of the exhibit were able to become familiar with the latest technology and equipment that they might see in the future and share ideas on further implementations. Attendees can see live demonstrations and presentations from a variety of companies.
