USS Mobile Bay departs San Diego as part of the Great Green Fleet.

SAN DIEGO -- The Ticonderoga Class Guided-Missile Cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53), departs Naval Base San Diego as part of the Great Green Fleet, for a scheduled deployment. The Great Green Fleet is an initiative optimizing energy use to increase optimal range, endurance and payload, turning energy into a force multiplier.
