SATMO FACT-E course
U.S. Army Security Assistance Command
Aug. 15, 2024 | 3:53
The Security Assistance Training Company (SATCO), part of the Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO), runs a Department of the Army and Department of State Certified, Foreign Affairs Counter Threat equivalency course. FACT-E is open to DoD personnel and designed to give service members a baseline of security awareness. SATMO runs 11 iterations of the training throughout the year and can facilitate up to 30 students per course. The overall goal of the Foreign Affairs Counter Threat Equivalency course is to prepare students to be aware of any potential threats while deployed overseas, be able to mitigate those threats, and be prepared to act in stressful situations.
