History of Eagles at Dale Hollow Lake Nestled in Restoration Project
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District
Dec. 22, 2014 | 6:08
American Bald Eagles made a comeback in the upper Cumberland region of Tennessee and Kentucky thanks to an Eagle Restoration Program conducted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District. This report looks back at how the Corps and its partners worked together to restore nesting populations atop a hacking tower on the shoreline of Dale Hollow Lake between 1987 and 1991.
