U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Phillip Chavez, with the 176th Engineering Company of the Washington National Guard, talks about his experiences thoughout Exercise Cobra Gold 2020 after the dedication ceremony at Bankrang School in Phitsanulok, Kingdom of Thailand, March 5, 2020. Chavez, a native of Red Bluff, CA., was the officer in charge over construction of a new multipurpose building. Cobra Gold 20 maintains a consistent focus on Humanitarian Civic Action, community engagement, and medical activities conducted during the exercise to support the needs and humanitarian interests of civilian populations around the region.
