The Third Infantry Division welcomes incoming Commanding General, Major General John M. Murray in a change of command ceremony at Fort Stewart's Cottrell Field. Outgoing Commanding General, Major General (Promotable) Robert B. Abrams, having just returned from a deployment in Afghanistan, unfurls the Division colors and and passes them to Major General Murray as a symbol for the transfer of leadership.
