107th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

U.S. Army Soldiers with The Florida Army National Guard’s (FLARNG) 2nd Battalion, 54th Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) fulfilled their roles of advisors during Tradewinds 2021, Co-operative Republic of Guyana, June 16-26. Soldiers with FLARNG SFAB, 7th Special Forces Group (7th SFG), and agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) advised troops throughout the training exercise to improve and assess skills. Guyana Defence Force (GDF), Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), Brazilian Marine Corps (BMC) and many other representatives of allied nations participated in the annual event. Tradewinds 2021 is a U.S. Southern Command Sponsored Caribbean security-focused exercise in the ground, air, sea, and cyber domains, working with partner nations to conduct joint, combined and interagency training, focused on increasing regional cooperation and stability.
