Observers from Allied and Partner Nations Visit Exercise Trident Juncture

A group of observers from NATO member countries and the Partnership for Peace (PfP) programme visited the Headquarters of 1 German/Netherlands Corps (1 GNC) in Jørstadmoen, Norway during exercise Trident Juncture 2018. They were briefed on exercise Trident Juncture, including the certification exercise for the NATO Response Force 2019, by Brigadier General Rob Querido. Thereafter, the group viewed 1 GNC’s Joint Operations Centre, the Rapid CIS (Command and Information Systems) Element providing the communications for the Headquarters and the Staff Support Battalion. The group consisted of observers from: 3x Sweden, 1x New Zealand, 2x Serbia, 1x Azerbaijan, 2x United Arab Emirates, 2x Algeria, 2 x Switzerland and 2 x NATO escorts from Spain.
