US Army engineers assist Boy Scout in improvement project at orphange in El Salvador
U.S. Army South
June 8, 2013 | 2:56
US Army Engineers in El Salvador, supporting Beyond the Horizon 2013, assist a Boy Scout in an improvement project at the Mi Casa Orphange in Santa Tecla. This project is going towards his Eagle Scoout badge, and the engineers are using their down time to volunteer and assist him. The project is an effort to prevent future flooding of the orphanage and provide a basketball court for the 15 orphans that reside here. The engineers are providing support to build three news schools in El Salvador, as part of BTH 2013, and provided manpower and some tools to aid this project. Includes interviews with Caleb MacLean from San Salvador and Sgt. 1st Class Joseph Infante from Hudson, Maine. Available in high definition.
