The 251st Engineer Company (Sapper) of the Maine Army National Guard conducted their two-week annual training at Canadian Forces Base Gagetown, New Brunswick, Canada August 2017. During their AT not only were the Sappers able to train as they fight, but select Soldiers got to receive more in-depth training to become subject matter experts (SME's) on some of the weapon systems to be able to teach others in their platoon.
