Tricare dental and vision program:

The current Tricare retiree dental program is ending at the end of this year. Retirees may opt into the new dental program during open season in November. Tricare will now include vision coverage for all eligible members and retirees. To take advantage of the new programs, or to make changes to current healthcare plans, you must do so during open season running from Nov. 12 through Dec. 10, 2018.

Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance:

Beginning Oct. 1, active duty and reserve Coast Guard members may manage their SGLI coverage online. The online enrollment system allows members to quickly and easily validate or change life insurance coverage amounts and beneficiaries.
