America's First Corps 2-Gun Sharpshooter Competition (Social Media)
25th Infantry Division
Dec. 3, 2018 | 1:28
Soldiers from America's First Corps came together at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, to start day one of the America's First Corps 2-Gun Sharpshooter Competition, hosted by 25th Infantry Division. Teams from across the Pacific, that join together together to form the Corps, represented units from 25th Infantry Division, 7th Infantry Division, 593rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, U.S. Army Alaska, 17th Field Artillery Brigade, 42nd Military Police Brigade and 555 Engineer Brigade. The competition is the second of three, with the first hosted at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson JBER (official), and the next taking place at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
Competitions such as this not only bring the units from across America's First Corps together, but emphasize the readiness and warrior spirit that encompasses a philosophy of maintaining the edge to deploy, fight and win, tonight.
