The Defense Finance Accounting Service highlighted the accomplishments of the agency over the course of the year. DFAS transitioned training, production, and implementation of Information and Technology modules from a waterfall methodology to an agile methodology, keeping in line with DFAS’s Agency Operational Health strategy to achieve cost, schedule and performance targets that support delivery of best value services.
