Soldiers from the 16th Combat Aviation Brigade conduct joint aviation operations with Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD Indonesia Armed Forces) in East Java, Indonesia. The joint aviation operations were a part of the ongoing military to military training conducted during Exercise Garuda Shield 19.

Garuda Shield is an annual, bilateral military exercise sponsored by the U.S. Army Pacific and hosted annually by Tentara Nasional Indonesia. This year marks the thirteenth iteration of this continuing effort to promote regional peace and security.
