Stories From War is a series of videos where veterans associated with the North Carolina National Guard tell their stories. The series will include stories from across the generations including veterans from World War II, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Episode 4
Capt. Ellis Parks, who deployed with the 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team to Iraq in 2009, tells the story of one of the calls he received while working in his unit's Tactical Operations Center, where an Airmen called in his own 9-Line Medical Evacuation Request.
