Naval Museum hosts a re-enlistment ceremony
Hampton Roads Naval Museum
Aug. 23, 2019 | 5:11
A recorded live-feed captured during a re-enlistment ceremony for BM2(SW) Lee Gibson, assigned to the Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73). The ceremony was hosted by the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, which is part of the Naval History and Heritage Command. The ceremony took place aboard the decommissioned Iowa-Class Battleship, USS Wisconsin (BB-63) with the iconic turret #1 as a backdrop. The ceremony was attended by members of her division and family. The museum proudly hosts military ceremonies aboard the Battleship Wisconsin for area commands without cost; to inquire contact their Special Events Coordinator at Thomas.Dandes@navy.mil or at (757) 322-3106.
