Exercise Balikatan
April 25, 2012 | 1:50
(with titles) Exercise Balikatan 2012, an annual Republic of the Philippines-U.S. military exercise focusing on field training (FTX), humanitarian civic assistance (HCA) and a command post exercise (CPX), came to a close April 26. Balikatan – which translated means “shoulder to shoulder” – emphasizes sharing and learning between both U.S. and Philippine forces. One of the closing ceremonies for BK12 was held at Fort Magsaysay, Philippines, on April 25. Video by Army Staff Sgt. Richard Colletta.
