902nd Security Forces Squadron provides nonlethal weapons training
502d Air Base Wing
Oct. 25, 2024 | 0:37
The Defenders are provided training with nonlethal weapons such as the Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW). Defenders learn and develop facts regarding the CEW and demonstrate fundamentals of instructions and use. The general goal for using force is to use a reasonable amount of force when the totality of the circumstances suggests a need to use force to lawfully gain control of the situation or individual encountered.
Protecting those who protect our nation. As the largest career field in the Air Force, it's the job of Security Forces to protect, defend and fight. They are responsible for missile security, defending air bases around the globe, law enforcement on those bases, combat arms and handling military working dogs.
