Dec. 5, 2017 | 0:44
Seventy-six years ago, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, prompted America's entry into World War II. Each year on Dec. 7, Americans honor those who died in the attack that killed 2,403 Sailors, Marines, Soldiers and civilians. Nearly half the casualties occurred on the USS Arizona, where 1,177 of the 2,512-man crew perished. In total eighteen U.S. Navy ships were sunk or run aground and 188 American aircraft were destroyed with nearly as many damaged during the surprise attack. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl.
