Fort Cavazos Gym Closures: H2F
Due to the H2F initiatives, Fort Cavazos is closing Greywolf, Harvey, Burba, Kieschnick Fitness Centers. The remaining fitness centers available to the public are West Fort Cavazos, North Fort Cavazos, Abrams, and Warrior Way.
2F represents Holistic Health and Fitness, a program within the United States Army designed to enhance the health and performance of soldiers. H2F marks a cultural shift in the Army's approach to training, development, and soldier care. The program emphasizes five key domains of readiness: Physical, Mental, Sleep, Nutrition, and Spiritual.
The objectives of H2F include optimizing individual soldier readiness, reducing preventable injuries, improving rehabilitation outcomes post-injury, ensuring soldiers are physically and mentally equipped for combat, and promoting career longevity.
