Cpl. Carly Marie Cadwallader speaks about being promoted to corporal by Staff Sgt. Peter Vandyken, a Marine who contributed to her decision to join the Marine Corps two years ago. Cadwallader now serves as an administrative clerk for Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. Cadwallader is a native of Fort Madison, Iowa.
