Hatchery Creek Lures Official Celebration
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District
May 3, 2016 | 3:18
Federal and state officials dedicated Hatchery Creek below Wolf Creek Dam in Jamestown, Ky., April 29, 2016. With the culmination of the Hatchery Creek Restoration Project, the new stream extends more than a mile through woodlands and wetlands and mimics natural, wild streams, encouraging natural behavior and spawning of wild trout. Water flows into the stream from the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery and the hatchery stocks the stream that naturally attracts campers nearby and others who like to fish.
