SANTA RITA, Guam (Feb. 27, 2020) Chief Culinary Specialist (Submarine) Michael Halavin, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., assigned to Commander, Submarine Squadron 15, speaks on his journey through life leading to his enlistment in the Navy and ultimately joining the submarine force, following in the footsteps of his father. CSS-15 is responsible for providing training, material, and personnel readiness support to four Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine commands located at Polaris Point, Naval Base Guam.
