Resolute Sentinel 24 concludes, strengthens global partnerships

A joint Peruvian, Colombian, and U.S. culminating exercise training event was held near Base Vitor, Peru, June 12, 2024, in support of Resolute Sentinel 2024. The exercise consisted of GRUFE (Special Forces Group of the Peruvian Air Force) Defense and Special Operations, Colombian Special Air Operations Group, U.S. Air Force Special Tactics Airmen, assigned to the 146th Air Support Operations Squadron, Oklahoma Air National Guard; U.S. Southern Command, Miami, FL; 437th Operations Support Squadron, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina; West Virginia Army National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 150th Aviation Regiment; and Peruvian Air Force Air Group 2, 3, and 4. This was a multi staged training event that focused on calling in simulated close air support, combat search and rescue, and stabilizing simulated patients to be transloaded to the proper care facilities.
