The United States Army doesn't have their own weather personnel, so they rely on the expertise of the Air Force Weather Forecasters attached to their unit. These Airmen, known as Staff Weather Officers (SWO), relay pertinent weather updates in a timely manner to ensure maximum effectiveness of Army forces anywhere, anytime, and in any weather conditions.
