U.S. Army Spc. Sagen Maddalena, a Woodland, California native, competes at the Air Rifle Olympic Trials - Part 1 December 6-8, 2019 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Top competitors from across the United States compete side by side in the air rifle discipline for a spot on Team USA in the 2020 Olympics. Scores from Part 1 will be added to Olympic Trials - Part 2, which will also be held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 6-9, 2020.

This b-roll package shows some of the action from the qualification rounds and the finals at the Air Rifle Olympic Trials - Part 1.

Note: Before joining the U.S. Army, Spc. Sagen Maddalena had a distinguished shooting career. She was an eight time All American from 2014 to 2018 with the University of Alaska Rifle team, a World Champion team member in 2014 and 2018, a part of the President’s 100 in 2010 and a Distinguished Rifleman in 2011.
