CAMP HUMPHREYS IS THE LARGEST US MILITARY INSTALLATION OUTSIDE OF THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES. THE BASE IS HOME TO ROUGHLY 40,000 SERVICEMEMBERS, CIVILIAN CONTRACTORS, AND THEIR FAMILIES. NAMED AFTER BENJAMIN K. HUMPHREYS, A PILOT FROM THE 6TH TRANSPORTATION COMPANY WHO DIED IN A HELICOPTER ACCIDENT ON NOVEMBER 13, 1961. AFN’S HUMPHREY HISTORY WILL TAKE YOU ON A TOUR ACROSS HUMPHREYS TO DISCOVER THE STORIES THAT MAKE UP OUR COMMUNITY.
