Swift Response 2017 – Anticipation

Soldiers of the 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team prepared for an Airborne and Air Assault Operation with Italian and Canadian Soldiers as part of exercise Swift Response 2017, a training mission to assault and seize an airfield in Bulgaria. Swift Response 2017 is a part of the overall Exercise Saber Guardian 2017, a U.S. European Command Joint Exercise Program. Exercise Saber Guardian 2017 consists of NATO Allies and partners coming together throughout Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria to help increase interoperability and readiness.
