Aircrew Flight Equipment Responds to COVID-19
100th Air Refueling Wing

The 100th Operations Support Squadron Aircrew Flight Equipment shop operates behind the scenes to support the aerial refueling mission at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. Responsible for repairing and maintaining the flight equipment pilots and boom operators need such as survival resources, oxygen masks, radios, and chemical protection gear, AFE serves an important role in mission success. AFE Airmen issue out individual quick-don emergency oxygen mask bags to all aircrew during the COVID-19 Crisis. Additionally, crew take their equipment to get reinspected and cleaned by AFE after each flight.
