Naval History & Heritage Command takes us into the History Galley with another recipe from the 1945 edition of the Cookbook of the U.S. Navy. One way that cooks could bring a little bit of the homefront to deployed Sailors was through good desserts. One on the list is Cherry Pie, which we are baking in honor of Navy Week Spokane, Washington. Cherries are a favorite of Washington State. Follow along and learn how to make this recipe at home!
