U.S. Coast Guard District 1 PADET New York
May 16, 2019 | 0:11
A diver contracted by the Coast Guard as part of the Coimbra 2019 operation dons his dive suit prior to entering the water to complete a deep-water dive to the wreck of the Coimbra in 180 feet of water, May 16, 2019. The Coimbra was a supply ship owned by Great Britain during World War II. The Coimbra sank off the coast of Long Island after a German U-boat torpedoed the ship in January 1942. (FOR RELEASE.
