YOKOSUKA (June 19, 2017) -- Cmdr. Douglas Pegher, commanding officer of guided-missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63), discusses base-wide support efforts for USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62). Fitzgerald was involved in a collision with a merchant vessel but returned to Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka under its own power.
